2. Scope

This policy applies to:

• the website frozencactusstudios.com (incl. /home/about, /home/products, /home/support), and
• our iOS apps “My Yardage Book Pro” and “My Plannr”.

3. Data we collect

Website / hosting
Our hosting provider (IONOS) automatically creates server logs when you visit our site (IP address, date/time, URL, referrer, browser, OS). This is necessary to deliver the website and to detect misuse.

In-app purchases
Purchases, subscriptions, free trials and restorations in our apps are processed exclusively by Apple via the App Store / StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment details. We only read the entitlement status to unlock premium features.

If you contact us at support@frozencactusstudios.com, we will process the data you send us (email address, message, optional attachments) to respond to your request.

We do not run our own in-app account system and do not integrate third-party analytics in the apps.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data on the following legal bases (Art. 6 GDPR):

• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – to operate a secure, functional website (server logs).
• Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – to provide in-app purchases, subscriptions and restore purchases.
• Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR – to answer support requests and improve our products.

We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

5. In-App Purchases (Apple)

All payments are handled by Apple. Apple may process your data according to its own privacy policy. Our apps only check whether your Apple account currently has an active entitlement so we can unlock premium content.

6. Hosting

Our website is hosted by IONOS (EU). Server log files are stored and processed to ensure stability and security.

7. Cookies & analytics

At this time, we do not intentionally use marketing or analytics cookies on this site. If we add analytics or tracking in the future, we will update this notice and, if required, ask for consent.

8. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated above or as required by law. Support emails are stored only as long as needed to handle your request.

9. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability, in accordance with Articles 15–21 GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
